Adams (31519 D), of Amwell Terrace, Ware; and, as this man has been an employed and insured person since 1917, will he state why benefit is not being extended to him?
§ Mr. BETTERTONMr. Adams has, I understand, been out of employment since616W January, 1924, and has drawn 310 days' benefit. His claim for extended benefit has been considered more than once by the local Employment Committee, who, after careful examination of all the facts, declined to recommend further benefit, since they were not satisfied that he fulfilled the statutory condition
that he proves that in normal times insurable employment suited to his capacities would be likely to be available for him.On the information before him, my right hon. Friend is not prepared to differ from the Committee.
