WORTHINGTON-EVANSIn Army Order 376 of: 918, which laid down the rules for the retention of acting cr temporary rank or, cessation of employment during the War, special treatment was accorded to officers who were disabled by wounds or sickness due to the Service. I regret that I cannot entertain any proposal for making further concessions, particularly in view of the time that has elapsed since the rules were made.
