§ Sir F. SYKESasked the Secretary of State for Air whether he will arrange in future Air Estimates for publication of detail of duties of Air Ministry civil as well as Service staff?
§ Sir S. HOAREI can see no reason why the form of Air Estimates should differ in this respect from those of all other Government Departments, in none of which is it the practice, so far as I am aware, to show in detail the duties upon which the staff are engaged. Moreover, the inclusion of this detailed information would necessarily result in an increased expenditure on printing. In these circumstances, I regret that I do not see my way to adopt my hon. and gallant Friend's suggestion.
