§ Mr. McNEILLThe high fees levied by Roumanian Consular officers for visas granted to British subjects, not only in Bulgaria but at all European posts, were recently made the subject of representations to the Roumanian Government, who have now announced their intention of reducing the fee to 10 gold lei. In a despatch dated 13th October His Majesty's Chargé d' Affaires at Sofia reported that the new rates had been Introduced by the Roumanian Legation there.
