§ Sir T. DAVIESasked the Minister of Health what is the cause of the delay in paying the mileage fees for doctors by the Gloucestershire Insurance Committee, seeing that the balance of such fees for 1924 is still unpaid and nothing has been received for such fees in respect of 1925?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI am informed that the calculations required for the distribution among insurance practitioners of the Gloucestershire Mileage Fund in accordance with the new scheme approved for 1924 have been greater than was anticipated. Payments have now begun to be made and the Committee expect to be able to complete them in the course of a few days. There is no apparent reason why advances should not be paid in respect of the current year, find I am so informing the Committee.
