HOPEasked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the importance of superphosphates as a raw material in the production of food, and in view of the assurance which has been given that food supplies would not be interfered with under the safeguarding of industries scheme, he will reconsider the inclusion of superphosphates coming within the scope of the scheme?
§ Sir B. CHADWICKI have been asked to reply. The President of the Board of Trade proposes, before making any further statement on this matter, to await the report of the committee which has been appointed to inquire into the application respecting superphosphates.
