§ Major ATTLEEThe Army Council are now considering the question of an alternative site, but I regret that I am not in a position to say more at present. As my hon. and gallant Friends are aware, the finding and acquisition of a site of this character will take some time. In the meantime, the amenities of Lulworth Cove, which is not within the danger area, are but little affected. I have received representations both against and in favour of the retention of the land, and local opinion appears to be by no means unanimous.
