BRITTAINasked the Postmaster-General if he is aware that the British representatives of Indian newspapers desiring to use the Leafield wireless telegraph service to India have been informed that this service has been closed down; whether he can give the reason for this decision; and when it is hoped to re-establish the service?
§ Mr. HARTSHORNI would refer the hon. Member to the answer which I gave on the 8th instant to a similar question put by the hon. Member for the Montrose Burghs (Mr. Sturrock), and of which I will send him a copy. I shall be happy to re-establish the service if there be any real demand for the facilities.
