§ Mr. BETTERTONasked the Postmaster-General whether the Law Officers have yet advised his Department as to what classes of public servants are affected by the judgment in the case of Sutton v. Rex: and, if so, whether, in accordance with the promise of his predecessor, he will state what those classes are and what action the Government has taken in the matter?
§ Mr. HARTSHORNI would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave to the right hon. Member for Colchester (Sir L. Worthington-Evans) on the 7th instant on this subject, and of which I will send him a copy.
