§ Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANSasked the Postmaster-General whether he is carrying out the undertaking given by his predecessor on the 10th July last in the House of Commons relating to claims by Post Office servants; whether decisions have been given in the test cases; and, if not, what is the reason of the delay?
§ Mr. HARTSHORNI have been informed by the solicitors representing the staff that the drafting of the petitions has now been completed. The delay has been due to the difficulty in framing categories which will be comprehensive, and I understand that the staff have also experienced difficulties in finding suitable petitioners.
