§ Rear-Admiral SUETERasked the President of the Board of Trade whether the attention of his Department has been called to the fact that Persian petrol is I being sold by the Anglo-Persian Oil Company as a British product; and, in: view of the shareholding of the Government in the company, will he see that nothing is done toy this company to offend Persian susceptibilities?
Mr. WEBBThis refers to a matter of commercial administration with which, as has previously been stated, the Government are pledged not to interfere. I think, however, that the company may be relied on to avoid doing anything which might be open to misconstruction in Persia.
