§ Mr. WHEATLEYInformation is not available as to the number of houses which have been erected or are being erected and in respect of which advances have been made by local authorities under the Small Dwellings Acquisition Acts, but during the period referred to loans amounting to £1,584,385 have been sanctioned by my Department for the purpose of making advances under the Acts.
