§ Mr. LOVERSEEDasked the President of the Board of Education whether the Board of Education will make special grants to schools in West Suffolk in order that children from that county may be enabled to visit the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley?
Mr. TBEVELYANThe Board have already made provision in Circular 1327 (a copy of which I am sending to the hon. Member) for assistance to those authorities who have arranged for visits to the exhibition of parties of school children from their areas. I should not be justified in making a special grant to West Suffolk for this purpose.
