Mr. ADAMSONNo application for a grant-in-aid of the construction of this road has been made to the Board of Agriculture for Scotland, and no promise of assistance made by the Congested Districts Board in the period prior to 1912 can be traced. Any application to the Unemployment Grants Committee by the Road Authority which would be responsible for the construction and maintenance of the proposed road will be considered.
