HC Deb 04 June 1924 vol 174 cc1287-8W
Sir W. de FRECE

asked the Home Secretary whether the Government has considered, or will consider, the desir- ability of amending the marriage law to permit of marriages taking place at a later hour than under the present law?

Mr. HENDERSON

His Majesty's Government have not considered the question of legislation on this subject, and no representations in favour of such legislation have reached my Department. I cannot undertake to consider the introduction of such legislation at the present time.
