HC Deb 29 July 1924 vol 176 c1911W
Mr. BAKER

asked the Postmaster-General whether his attention has been called to the views of Sir Robert Donald, the chairman of the Donald Committee, as to the future of broadcasting as a means of distributing news; and whether he will take this into account when he is considering the immediate desirability of improving the news service which is broadcasted?

Mr. HARTSHORN

The answer to both parts of the question is in the affirmative. With regard to the immediate action to be taken, I would refer the hon. Member to my answer to a question which he asked on the 22nd July.
