HC Deb 24 July 1924 vol 176 cc1530-1W

asked the Minister of Pensions if he will look into the case of Major S. M. L. Iredale, of Granville Road, Sevenoaks, with a view to giving him a renewal of his supplementary award?

I assume the hon. and gallant Member refers to allowances granted to this officer under the Regu- lations of the Special Grants Committee in respect of his wife and children. Major Iredale's applications have received very careful consideration, but the Committee decided that they were not in a position to renew the allowances. If, however, the hon. and gallant Member has any additional facts in support of the application, and will let me know, I will refer them to the Committee for their consideration.
