§ Mr. RICHARDSThe answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. The Indian law provides for a weekly rest clay on Sunday or a substituted day, provided that the substitution in no case results in more than 10 consecutive days. My Noble Friend has no reason to suppose that the Provincial Government, which is responsible for the administration of the Factory Act, has failed to enforce its provisions.
