advisability of setting up a committee to consider the conditions under which Post Office clerks work: and whether he is aware that grave dissatisfaction exists regarding the remuneration which they receive?


I have been asked to reply. My right hon. Friend is aware of no circumstances which would warrant the appointment of a Committee to inquire into the conditions of service of Post Office staff. The ordinary means of discussing their remuneration are open to them.
