HC Deb 16 July 1924 vol 176 c400W

asked the Postmaster-General whether the land purchased by the Post Office in Margaret Street, Clerkenwell, has beer fund to be suitable for the purpose for which it was acquired; and, if not, whether he would be willing to consult the local authorities as to whether it could he used for housing purposes?

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative, the delay in development., of the land being due to financial considerations. The second part of the question therefore does not arise.
