Mr. SMITHMy right hon. Friend has received a preliminary report on this matter dealing with proposals for State assistance to the cost of the drainage scheme. On this he has made certain proposals, which are wider consideration by a committee appointed by the Drainage Board. The final report must await the result of these negotiations.
