HC Deb 14 July 1924 vol 176 cc50-1W

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs from what funds the Reparation Commission draws the salaries of its members and its expenses; whether the British Government contributes or is to be asked in the near future to contribute to these expenses; and, in the event of such contribution being made, whether Parliament will have an opportunity for discussion and on what Vote?

In reply to the first part of the question, the expenses of the Reparation Commission are defrayed by the ex-enemy Governments concerned; the answer to the second part of the question is in the negative, and, accordingly, the third part does not arise.
