§ Mr. GWYNNEUnder Army Order 324 of 1919, the increased rates of pay of officers announced therein are subject to adjustment after five years, to the extent of a maximum of 20 per cent., in accordance with variations in the cost of living; and the rates will be adjusted accordingly from 1st July, 1924. As regards the Navy, the question should be addressed to the First Lord of the Admiralty.
