Mr. J. MUIRasked the Minister of Pensions whether any deductions are made from the pensions of children of deceased sailors and soldiers in those cases where the mother has re-married a diabled man, and the step-father and his children are in receipt of treatment allowances?
§ Major TRYONNo deductions are made from the pensions of the children in such cases. The amount paid in pension and treatment allowances is never less than the amount the step-father would receive as treatment allowances were the stepchildren his own.
