§ Viscount WOLMERLegal proceedings are being taken at the instance of the Director of Public Prosecutions against the owner of the vessel under the Merchant Shipping (Wireless Telegraphy) Act, 1919. The case was begun yesterday, 281W and has been adjourned until Wednesday, the 23rd January. The action of the Board of Trade officer, which was adversely commented on by the Court of Inquiry, has been further investigated by the magistrate who presided over the Court, and severe disciplinary action has been taken by the Department.
