HC Deb 27 February 1924 vol 170 cc508-9W
Mr. STAMFORD

asked the Minister of Health whether he has received resolutions from a number of public health authorities urging that the Tuberculosis Order of 1914, which was suspended during the War, should now be put into operation; and, if so, what action he proposes to take in the matter?

Mr. W. R. SMITH

I have been asked to reply for the Minister of Agriculture. The reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As my right hon. Friend has already explained, the Ministry has now under consideration the question as to whether it is practicable to put into operation at the present time the Tuberculosis Order of 1914, and he hopes to be able to come to a decision shortly.
