HC Deb 27 February 1924 vol 170 c515W
Lieut. - Commander KENWORTHY

asked the Postmaster-General what reasons he can give to explain why only some 13,000 policies are in existence under the Post Office life assurance system in view of the great advantages and security offered; and what steps are taken to advertise the system to the public?

An inquiry has recently been made into the Post Office life assurance system, and measures have been suggested to make it more attractive to the public which are now under consideration. I am not yet in a position to make any announcement on the subject.
