Mr. DAVIESThe answer to the first part of the Question is in the affirmative. As the hon. Baronet is no doubt aware, this matter has been discussed in Parliament on more than one occasion. I regret that I can hold out no expectation of any action being taken apart from any such general provision for widows as was foreshadowed by the Chancellor of the Exchequer in this House last week.
