§ Mr. WHEATLEYAccording to statistics obtained from the reports of medical officers of health for the year 1922, 15,867 houses in England and Wales were found to he unfit for human habitation. Particulars are not available as to the number of persons living in these houses or the death-rate in regard to such houses.
