§ Mr. BARCLAYasked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been drawn to the danger to both cyclists and motorists at night through the absence of rear lights or reflectors on cycles; and whether he proposes to introduce legislation to ensure that cyclists carry at least reflectors in order to obviate the danger?
§ Mr. GOSLINGI am unable to say, at present, whether it will be possible to promote any legislation, in the near future, dealing with lights on road vehicles. Should it be decided to introduce a Bill, the points referred to by the hon. Member shall receive full consideration.
