§ Mr. BLACKasked the Minister of Health whether he is prepared to sanction the provision of hospital treatment for advanced cases of tuberculosis as proposed by the County Council of Leicester; and, if not, whether he has 1045W considered the futulity of providing treatment for many early cases of consumption whose disease can be directly traced to infection from persons in an advanced state of tuberculosis who are compelled to remain in crowded houses until removed by death?

The second part of the question does not, therefore, arise.
