§ Mr. E. WOODFigures recently furnished to me by the authorities of training colleges, including University Training Departments, show that the numbers of students who left the colleges in the summer of 1922, and who were known last February to have failed to obtain posts, were 200 men and 427 women. My right hon. Friend informs me that of the 915 students who have completed their courses at the training colleges under the direction of the Ministry of Labour, 585 are known to have obtained employment.
