§ Sir M. BARLOWI have received a copy of this resolution and have sent a reply to the National Citizens' Union. The appointment of the members of the Domestic Service Committee has been in a personal capacity and not as representatives of particular organisations. The Committee has now begun its work and I cannot see my way to add to its membership. I feel sure that the members are fully competent to examine the problem in all its bearings and they will be prepared to hear evidence from every point of view.
