§ Sir M. BARLOWOwing to the death of the Chairman, the late Sir Thomas Munro, which we all deplore, the Committee has not met since 6th March. I am glad to be able to announce that Mr. W. B. Yates, who until recently was Umpire under the Unemployment Insurance Acts, has consented to act as Chairman of the Committee, and I hope a further meeting will be held at an early date.
