§ Mr. MOSLEYasked the Secretary of State for Air whether it is the practice in the Air Ministry, in the event of a complaint being made by members of the staff which necessitates an inquiry being held, to appoint an official involved in the complaint to hold the inquiry and to report thereon?
§ Sir S. HOAREThe answer is in the negative. An official involved in a complaint made by persons serving under him would certainly be asked to make a report on the matter, but obviously he could not conduct a, disciplinary inquiry into his own actions.
