asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the total amount provided in the Estimates of 1923–4 for Iraq and Palestine, respectively?

I have been asked to reply to this question. The total amount provided in the Estimates for 1923–24 for Iraq is £6,993,000, and for Palestine £1,550,000. The latter sum includes £150,000 in respect of Transjordan.
