§ Mr. A. BENNETTasked the Minister of Health whether, in connection with the housing proposals of the Government, a complete national scheme will be introduced for dealing with the financing of the housing operations which will be carried on?
Mr. CHAMBERLAIN:As at present advised, I see no necessity for such a scheme, as I have no reason to doubt that the existing facilities are sufficient to enable the housing operations contemplated under the Government proposals to be financed by the local authorities.
