§ Mr. D. SOMERVILLEasked the Minister of Health whether he proposes in any legislation which may be introduced to give effect to the housing proposals of the Government to deal with the existence of rings of building materials operating to force up prices against the interests of the taxpayer?
Mr. CHAMBERLAIN:I would refer my hon. Friend to my reply yesterday to a question put by the hon. Member for Tottenham North (Mr. R, Morrison). I hope it may not be necessary to introduce legislation to deal with this matter.
