HC Deb 21 March 1923 vol 161 c2581W
Sir B. FALLE

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty when it is anticipated the post-War complements of accountant officers will be announced; and whether, in view of the reorganisation of His Majesty's coastguard service, any reductions are contemplated in the number of paymaster captains allowed or otherwise?

Mr. AMERY

The post-War establishments of officers of the Accountant Branch are still under discussion, and I am unable to give a definite date as to when they will be fixed. The number of paymaster captains is not affected by the reorganisation of the Coast Guard, with whom no accountant officers of this rank arc serving.
