BARLOWThe total number of persons unemployed in the various branches of the building trade in Great Britain on 26th February, 1923 (the latest date for which figures are available) was 136,261. The details are appended. Assuming that these workpeople draw the same average per head as unemployed workpeople generally, the weekly amount drawn by them is about £93,800:
