§ Sir M. CONWAYasked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will endeavour to arrange that a passport may be allowed to last without renewal for a period of five years instead of two years?
§ Mr. McNEILL:The question of the extension of the period of validity of British passports is receiving the careful consideration of His Majesty's Government, and I hope that it may be found possible to adopt the hon. Member's suggestion.
