Mr. CHAMBERLAINComplete information as to contract prices at the present date is not yet available as local authorities are not now required to obtain prior approval to tender prices. Such tenders as have been submitted to me in the months of May and June have ranged from £277 to £400 for non-parlour houses and from £329 10s. to £444 for parlour houses.
