HC Deb 23 April 1923 vol 163 c60W
Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether any importers of fruit and vegetables were consulted by his Department before he decided to support the Merchandise Marks Bill now before Parliament; and, if so, who were they and what evidence they gave?

Sir R. SANDERS

Yes, Sir. My Department arranged a conference between the promoters of the Bill and the Chamber of Horticulture, which comprises all sections of the trade.
