In 1922 the quantity of leather gloves imported into 57W the United Kingdom from all sources amounted to 448,382 dozen pairs, valued at £1,206,898. If this total, 189,576 dozen pairs, valued at £688,818, were recorded as consigned from France, this being the largest total so recorded in respect of any single country.
