asked the Minister of Labour what is the number of bricklayers, joiners, plumbers, slaters, and plasterers on the unemployment register for the United Kingdom; and what is the percentage of unemployment in these respective trades at the present time?

Statistics for the United Kingdom are not available, but at 26th March the numbers and percentages of persons registered as unemployed in Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the trades mentioned were as follow:
