§ Sir W. de FRECEasked the Minister of Labour whether, in view of the importance of diminishing exceptional local unemployment and of reducing the sums paid out in unemployment donation, his advice is solicited by or offered to the Trade Facilities Committee in connection with any scheme put forward for their consideration and help: and, if this be so, whether he can state the measure of practical attention paid to his recommendations?
§ Dr. MACNAMARAThe committee are furnished periodically with information regarding unemployment in various areas, and I have no doubt this information is taken into account by the committee.
