Mr. ORMSBY-GORE

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many shares the Government own in the Hoffman Ballbearing Company; whether they have appointed any directors to this company, and, if so, who, and at what salaries, and for how long; whether the Government shares in this concern have been offered for sale; whether any offers have been received; and, if so, why no offer has been accepted?

Mr. YOUNG
