Mr. J. JONESasked the Prime Minister whether, in view of his statement in the House, on 16th March, 1921, that the policy to be followed with regard to the embargo on the importation of Canadian store cattle was a matter for the House of Commons to decide, an opportunity will be given to this House at an early date for consideration of this matter with a view to such a decision being arrived at?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINIn view of the great pressure upon Parliamentary time I think that the Estimates will provide the most suitable opportunity for this discussion, if it is desired.
