§ Mr. PENNEFATHERasked the Prime Minister whether the administration of the Sudan is still carried out under the terms of the convention with Egypt of 1899, whereby the Governor-General of the Sudan is appointed by the Egyptian Government subject to the assent of the British Government; and whether the present policy of the British Government is to continue, modify, or end the above-named Convention?
