§ Mr. AMERYWith regard to the first part of the question, a letter from my1076W hon. Friend as chairman of the Committee was received at the Admiralty on the 16th December, 1920, in which the question of the pay of naval schoolmasters was raised. The reply to the second part of the question is in the affirmative. I regret that I am still not in a position to make the statement referred to in the third part of the question, but I wish to assure my hon. Friend that all possible steps are being taken to hasten a decision in the matter, and that the decision will be promulgated as early as possible after it has been reached.
